The Alberta Lymphedema Association is holding their 2010 Education Symposium on May 17th, at the Clara Christie Theatre Foothills Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, in Calgary. The symposium features a presentation by Dr. Andrea Cheville of the Mayo Clinic and Pierre-Yves von der Weid, PhD , a researcher at the university of Calgary. There will be presentations geared to medical professionals who provide lymphedema care, lymphedema patients and physicians. There is no charge for this event.
